Albina E. “Bea” Turtle entered peacefully into her Heavenly home on April 6th, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Virginia (DiStefano) Cestrone and Vincenzo Cestrone. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Dr. Quentin C. Turtle, her brother John Cestrone, and her sister, Carmen R. (Cestrone) Imondi.

Bea is survived by her sister, Mary (Cestrone) Criscione, daughters, Virginia Cerbo and Margaret Cestrone, her son, Dr. William Turtle and daughter-in-law Jean Turtle, her son, James Turtle, as well as five grandchildren, William, Nicholas, Alexander, Emily and her husband Steven, and Bianca.

Born on May 10, 1929, in Providence, RI, Bea graduated Cum Laude from Mount Pleasant High School in 1947, having also been elected to the RI Honor Society during her senior year. Following high school, she worked in Providence as a legal secretary until 1955 when she married the love of her life Quentin. She devoted the remainder of her life to caring for her husband, children, and extended family. A devout Catholic and role model for the Christian faith, Bea could often be seen saying the Rosary and was a longtime parishioner and communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Cranston.

An exceptional cook and baker, her family often enjoyed her wonderful Italian Food as well as her delicious made-from-scratch brownies, cakes, and cookies. Her sense of humor, beautiful singing voice and most of all, her warm and loving heart will always be cherished and greatly missed. Bea’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the many wonderful nurses and CNA’s who diligently and compassionately cared for both our parents the past several years.

Her Funeral will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 8:30AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston.
